Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father is from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's early memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and observing her mother at working. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of commercials for television. Anna moved to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. In the decade which followed, she relocated into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They were engaged by 2009, after they got married. They were married with a civil ceremony on ended in December. They renewed their vows in the form of a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's similar-sex romance with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in CNN's list of all-time most viewed TV Couples and was named the top TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. The show's success led to Anna building a large audience on social networks.
